The present English-French-Spanish-Russian glossary is only a provisional list of water terms. It is issued primarily as a practical help for translators and interpreters servicing the United Nations Water Conference. It has been compiled from books, publications and documents that appear in the Bibliography or that have been prepared for the Conference.
